The stage is an actual haircutting workstation with one foot in reality and the other in the magical realm of theatre. Raymond Keane worked as a hair stylist in Cork, Dublin, London and Amsterdam before trading in his scissors for a red nose. In Hairdresser in the House one lucky audience member gets their hair cut live on stage each night. The show is set against a background of fashions past and present. Closet mullets and shag perms speak in a supportive environment.
